Unleash us

IF Speaker Mark Forbes wishes to “unleash the dogs of war,” maybe he should consider instead to “unleash” some of that built up anger inside of him in a more positive way.
While I did not vote for Governor Camacho in the last election, I believe that we should support him as he is the highest elected official on Guam, however much that may dismay Speaker Forbes and upset him.
I have watched Speaker Forbes’ career with interest for many years. He seems to be the type of politician who only likes to “grab headlines” and not really put forth anything meaningful. All of these crazy things he did, such as the “Early Out” program, elected school board and others were done right before election time to gain him votes. I know people close to him who listen to him rant and rave about how easily he “controls” the local media.
Now, with the Marianas Variety story, we are starting to see the “real” Mark Forbes come to light. Keep up the good work Marianas Variety. In the meantime, I have some more constructive advice for Speaker Mark Forbes.
Instead of unleashing “the dogs of war,” try this:
* Unleash your destructive reigns you placed on the governor over the executive agencies.
* Unleash these tax breaks you are giving your business cronies so they get rich but the rest of us suffer.
* Unleash the media from your “control” so we don’t have to hear so much from you.
* Unleash us from watching one more dog and pony show that you do on your school tours.
* Unleash us from your destructive style of politics and instead reach deep inside your soul and do something good for us instead of what is good for your political career.
