clinic Saturday, Sunday
THE Ambivalence Track and Field Club of Kawasaki, Japan will be holding
a two-day clinic at the Oleai Sports Complex track and field facility
this Saturday and Sunday.
Northern Marianas Athletics is inviting all athletes to attend the clinic,
which will run from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon.
The Japanese group will be discussing techniques and will be conducting
demonstrations related to sprints and middle distances races, jumps and
throwing events.

NYBA 16-and-under cagingmeeting
Tuesday
The Northern Youth Basketball Association is calling on all coaches of
teams that will be participating in the NYBA 16-and-under caging to attend
a meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 26 at the Garapan court.
The meeting is set for 6 p.m.
Important details, such as rosters, tournament rules and entrance fee
will be discussed at the meeting.
NYBA is planning to open the youth caging on March 20.

NMBF meeting this weekend
(NMBF) The Northern Marianas Badminton Federation will be
holding a general membership meeting this weekend at the pavillion beside
the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.
NMBF members are requested to attend one of the two meetings. Non-members
are welcome to attend and become part of the badminton family.
On top of the agenda is the planned tournament. This will be the second
tournament organized by the NMBF.
NMBF officers will give out sign-up sheets during the meeting to determine
the number of participants in the mens and womens singles,
mens and womens doubles, and mixed doubles.
The group is holding daily practices from Monday to Friday from 8am to
11am at the Ada Gym. The weekend schedule is from 12pm to 4 pm.
