3 students arrested for smoking marijuana in school

Variety News Staff

THREE students at Simon Sanchez High School were caught smoking marijuana while on school grounds. Two of them, both minors, were slated for disciplinary actions, while one was charged in the Superior Court of Guam.
George Renguul Ngiratebl, 18, was charged with possession of marijuana, distribution of a schedule I controlled substance as a first-degree felony, and distribution of an illegal substance within a drug-free school zone as a third-degree felony.
The principal of the high school in Yigo called the police after one of the minor students was seen by a school aide smoking what appeared to be a marijuana cigarette.
When questioned, the student confessed that he bought the marijuana cigarette from Ngiratebl.
Ngiratebl told police and school authorities that he had purchased the marijuana cigarette from another student and sold it to the minor student so he could buy lunch from the school store.
Police searched Ngiratebl’s bag and found a homemade pipe with what appeared to be marijuana residue.
