By Roselyn B. Monroyo
Variety News Staff

THE Dublon Chiefs recovered from an opening set loss and stole the lead from Kich Fairo after two and half sets of their match in the World Organized Rocball Community League yesterday at the Marianas High School Gym.
The Dublon Chiefs were leading, 40-30, midway in the third set when the game was temporarily stopped as students needed to return to class.
After a 13-17 loss to Kich Fairo in the first set, the Dublon Chiefs regained their bearings notching a 17-7 victory in the second for a 30-24 advantage.
The lead increased to 10, as the Dublon Chiefs were leading 10-6 in the third set, before the match was halted.
The game resumes today.
Both teams need to win to keep their semifinals chances alive.
The Dublon Chiefs have a 1-2 record and share third place with Black Magic and Da Lani Kynez.
Kich Fairo is winless in two games and if it loses anew, it can kiss its semis bid goodbye.
Only the undefeated Mwaliyas (4-0) and Watch & Learn (3-1) are assured of tickets in Final Four.
The playoff round is expected to be completed this week, as the six participating teams will play only five games in the second round.
The top four teams after the second round will advance to the best-of-three games semifinals.
