2 men arrested for assault and battery, disturbing the peace

TWO men were arrested over the weekend for punching other men and for assaulting another man with a rock in two separate incidents.
George Paul, 34 and Koo Soo Chong, 62, were taken into custody on Saturday afternoon for assault and battery and disturbing the peace.
Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Lei Ogumoro-Uludong said Paul punched Mike Nakama Daikichy and George Tanto.
The incident happened behind Sablan’s Apartment in Chalan Kanoa and was reported to the police at 2:03 p.m. on Saturday.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victims and the suspect were hanging out behind the apartment.
The suspect later confronted Daikichy and Tanto.
Paul tried to punch Daikichy but missed. He then confronted the other victim, Tanto and punched him in the face.
Daikichy and Tanto left immediately and called police for assistance.
Paul, who was reportedly drinking earlier, was arrested later transported to the Department of Corrections for booking and detention.
At 4:56 p.m. on the same day, patrol officers responded to a call of disturbing the peace and assault and battery incident at the Olympia Auto Repair Shop in Koblerville.
Police were told that Koo Soo Chong assaulted Chang Eon Ahn with a rock.
DPS said the victim was at the repair shop when approached by the suspect.
Koo Soo Chong began shouting at the victim and his companion and hurled profanities at them.
Koo Soo Chong then picked a rock and threw it at the victim who sustained no injuries.
Rhe suspect was arrested later and was transported to the Department of Corrections for booking and detention.
