Surangel & Sons vs. Bangladeshis in soccer finals

The two teams that played in the championship game the last three editions will face anew this time in the 2007 Palau Football Federation tournament at the PCC track and field.
Gametime is set at 6:30 p.m. between the protagonists Surangel and Sons and the Banglaheshi nationals.
Before that the Palau Tigers take on the Nepalese nationals at 4:30 p.m. in the battle for third place.
Surangel and Sons and the Bangladeshis defeated their respective rivals in last Sunday’s semifinals to advance to the championship round.
Surangel outwitted the Nepalese, 4-1 while the Bangladeshis escaped with a 3-1 win over the Palau Tigers.
Scott Rehmus sparked Surangel’s power with a kick from the midfield before Andy Johnson, Bradley Thames and Joey Martine added one each to complete the victory.
Jayadi scored the Nepalese’ lone goal.
Palau’s Tony Ililau opened the game with a goal in just three minutes of the first half before Michael Steinmetz answered in the seventh minute to tie the game.
In the second half, Nizan Uddin gave the lead for the Bangladeshis then the former pro soccer player from Venezuela, Steinmetz scored anew for Team Bangladesh’s third goal of the game.
