A WOMAN was arrested for assaulting another woman in their barracks in Fina Sisu on Tuesday morning.
Jian Ying Fan, 37, was arrested for assault and battery and detained at the Department of Corrections.
Acting Department of Public Safety spokesman Sgt. Thomas Blas Jr. said DPS received a report of a disturbance in Fina Sisu at 11:08 a.m. on Tuesday.
A preliminary investigation by Police Officer Catherine Pangelinan disclosed that the victim, Mei Ying Li, was in her room when the suspect knocked on her door.
When the victim opened the door, she saw the suspect was holding a stick which Jian Ying Fan used to strike the victim.
The suspect also threw other objects at the victim who sustained abrasions on her body and a cut to her head. (
