Peched snaps Breakers’ win run

Defending Champion Peched Raw snapped the Breakers winning run, 100-93, on Wednesday night Dec, 27 in Division I of the 2006 Shell NBL at the Palau National Gymnasium.
With the win, Peched improved its record to 3-2 while snapping the Breakers’ three-game winning roll.
Weston Ketebengang scored 21 points while Sunshine Soalablai and Nik Techemang added 18 and 17.
Taka Gibbons and Robinson had 29 and 25 for the Breakers, who absorbed their second defeat in five games.
In the other Division I game, the Styxers posted their second win against three losses by beating Meda, 81-76.
Roydan, Wallace and Una had 19, 18 and 13 points, respectively, to lead the Styxers while Nick and Ziske Asanuma had 23 and 22 for Meda, which slipped to its second straight defeat after winning its first three assignments.
The current standings are Surangel Suns (3-1), Rivals (3-1), Islanders (2-1), Peched Raw (3-2), Breakers (3-2), Meda (3-2), Ididers (2-2), Styxers (2-3), Ikelauans (0-3) and Ranchers (0-4).
