ACTION in the 2006-2007 season of the Masters Basketball League resumes tonight with two games in the 45-and-up division.
The annual caging took a two-week break in observance of the holiday season.
LBT Appraisal and the Dino Sores hope to regain their form early after the long lull when they collide in the first game at 6:30 p.m.
In the second game at 8 p.m., the Kanoans challenge the Old’Aces.
Four more games are scheduled this week with teams in the 35-and-up division playing on Wednesday.
The first game on Wednesday will have Samahang Ilokano at Pangasinense meeting PTI at 6:30 p.m.
The second game at 8 p.m. will feature the Old’Aces battling the Typhoons.
On Friday, 45-and-up squads return to action with Tropical Storm facing NMC Proa in the first game at 6:30 p.m.
NIC clashes with the Old’Aces in the second match at 8 p.m.
In succeeding weeks, the organizing Basketball Association of Northern Mariana Island will be implementing separate schedules for the 35-and-up and 45-and-up divisions.
Teams in the 45-and-up divisions will be playing every Monday and Friday, while participants in the 35-and-up division will have their turn every Wednesday.
Teams that have yet to make a full payment of the $400 entrance fee are advised to contact tournament organizers. Squads can pay $50 before each game.
