GPA computer system down

By Gerardo R. Partido
Variety News Staff

IN CASE you’re having problems logging on to the Guam Power Authority’s Web site, rest assured that it’s not your computer acting up.
GPA announced yesterday that its computer system is undergoing maintenance and some online customers may not be able to make payments over the Internet.
No time frame has been given as to how long the maintenance work will take, but GPA public information officer Art Perez said residents can pay at any of GPA’s three offices—the Harmon main office or the Hagatna and Agat satellite offices.
“The problems started last week but our computer technicians are working on them right now. They’re going through everything from the cashier system to customer service, and the various financial systems,” Perez said.
He assured that when the maintenance work is completed, everything will go back to normal.
