Military IDs

THIS is to inform all military personnel and their dependents that personnel from Hawaii will be on island to issue military ID cards from Jan. 12 to 19, a media release said.
Hours of operation are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Jan. 10 – Students return to school (3rd quarter begins), National Jr. Honor Society, 6th grade, selection begins, Parent advisory council meeting, 6 p.m., Room B-5
• Jan. 12 – Geography Bee Competition (4th-6th grade)
• Jan. 16 – 2nd quarter award ceremony, PTSA meeting 6 p.m., cafeteria
• Jan. 22 – Flag ceremony, 8 a.m. (lead by 2nd grade students)
• Jan. 27 – NJHS Induction ceremony (tentative)
• Jan. 29 – Jr. Girl Scouts meeting, 2:30 p.m., Room B-3
• Jan. 30 – Spelling Bee finals, 2:30 p.m., cafeteria
• Jan. 31 – Half day (students dismissed at 12 p.m.), teacher training day

Tax deadline

THE Division of Revenue and Taxation is reminding all CNMI residents that the 2006 4th quarter deadline for filing quarterly tax returns is Wednesday, Jan. 31.
Revenue and Taxation will be open from 7:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 31.
The division’s office is at the Joeten Dandan Commercial Center.
