THE Saipan and Northern Islands Municipal Council yesterday presented a copy of a commemorative resolution congratulating the board of directors of Grace Christian Academy.
The resolution signed by councilmembers Marian DLG. Tudela, Antonia Tudela and Angel S. Hocog “congratulates Grace Christian Academy on its 20th anniversary on Sep. 2 of 2006 in providing educational services for students on Saipan.”
The council members handed the resolution to GCA board chairman Rev. Raymond S. Kinsella yesterday at the school’s main building on Navy Hill.
It was GCA’s first day of school this year.
Kinsella commended the sacrifices of teachers and parents in helping GCA provide quality education to the children of Saipan.
He said GCA’s mission is “to partner with parents in producing vibrant, confident, disciplined and loving students.”
The school recently gained accreditation from the Association of Christian Schools International and now has 363 students.
