Unbeaten teams L&S, Fiesta Inter collide

By Jonathan V. Perez
Variety News Staff

L&S/KYUNG-Seung and Fiesta Inter collide on Sunday in a battle of unbeaten teams in week four action in the Men’s Football League at the Oleai Sports Complex.
L&S holds a 3-0 record to lead the league while Fiesta Inter followed closely with a 2-0-1 win-loss-draw record.
L&S maintained its perfect record after scoring a 3-2 win over a hard-fighting Onwel squad last Sunday while Fiesta Inter was held to a scoreless draw by Real Mariana.
Jahangir Hossain will again be at the center of L&S’ offense and will be a marked man by Fiesta Inter.
Hossain scored twice, including the game-winning goal, in their game against the Thai-backed Onwel team.
L&S and Fiesta Inter will play at 4:30 p.m.
The opening game will feature Korean One against Onwell at 12 noon.
In the second game, Real Mariana battles the Pacific Telecom Inc. Guardians at 1:30 p.m. while the Independents collide with Alliance at 3 p.m.
In other news, the NMIFA board reduced to three games the seven-game suspension given earlier to Rokibul and Kim.
Their suspensions were reduced by the NMIFA board after hearing their appeals.
