NMI firm signs deal with RP’s Bigfoot Entertainment

THE GEFH Entertainment Group, a CNMI-based film, television, and media consulting firm, has recently concluded a consulting deal with Bigfoot Entertainment in Cebu, central Philippines, a media release said.
Under the terms of the agreement, GEFH principals will help Bigfoot develop its production and post-production sound departments.
Located in Mactan, in the city of Lapu-Lapu, Bigfoot Entertainment is nearing completion of its $10 million facility, which includes a sound stage and a shooting stage, full post-production for picture and sound, office space, and housing for both students and clients.
The International Academy for Film and Television teaching facilities round out Bigfoot’s compound and provide international style to its film and television instruction.
Bigfoot’s goal is to revitalize the Philippine film industry by bringing Western production values to Asian flavored films and establishing an Asian Hollywood crossover style.
This is the first Philippine client for GEFH, whose current projects include a $50 million, five motion picture deal with Billian Entertainment and the state of Illinois; the Asian Movie Data Base project in China; and an ultra high speed “digital cinema” data transmission system project based in Chicago.
