Over the weekend there were
two reported assault and battery, accidents and three burglaries according
to the Division of Patrol.
Division of Patrol Chief Ismael Aguon said that the weekend was generally
peaceful save for some incidents.
On Jan. 5, Aguon said a minor was arrested for attempting to enter a residence
in Medalaii.
The police said the suspect tried to remove the louver from the houses
window but the victim immediately called the police for help.
On Jan. 6. at around 1:10 p.m. , a male residing in Ngerbeched told the
police that somebody entered his home and allegedly took $3,000.
Another break- in reportedly occurred in Ngerbeched at around 4 p.m. when
suspect reportedly carted away with $65 worth of cash and goods.
For assault and battery cases, a male was arrested on Jan. 5 following
complaint filed by his female companion for alleged beatings.
On Jan. 6, at around 9:45 p.m. police stop two males for fighting in Ngerchemai,
Koror.
The two individuals were charged.
On Jan. 5, at around 8:56 p.m, a vehicle collision occurred at the intersection
of Medalaii.
A speeding vehicle collided with another vehicle, the police said.
No passengers were reportedly injured but citations were issued for the
incident.
