POLICE are now looking for an “elderly man” who attempted to kidnap an 11-year-old girl while waiting at a bus stop on Stampa Road in Y’Sengsong, Dededo around 7 a.m. yesterday.
Guam Police Department public affairs officer Allan Guzman said the suspect is possibly local, 5-feet-6-inch to 5-feet-7-inch tall, of slim build and has a light complexion. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt with black pants and red shoes.
Guzman said the girl told police that while she was waiting at her bus stop, the suspect drove up in a white, square body shaped Nissan Sentra.
“The elderly man grabbed her shoulder and attempted to pull her into the vehicle but she said she kicked the man and fled home to report the incident,” Guzman said.
No arrests have been made as of press time yesterday. Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to contact the Guam Police Department at 477-8911 or Guam Crime Stoppers at 477-HELP(4357).
“The police request parents and guardians to please look out for your children’s safety and report all suspicious activities to the police,” Guzman added.
