By Trina A. San Agustin
Variety News Staff

THE chief medical examiner is expected to conduct an autopsy at 10 a.m. today on the body of a woman discovered yesterday morning at Sella Bay overlook off Route 2 in Umatac. Police will then be able to move forward with their investigation.
The body was that of a female of Asian descent, according to Lt. Kim Santos of the Guam Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Section.
Santos told Variety that the woman’s body was discovered by two employees of a landscaping company working on the overlook park. Police conducted an investigation for a good part of the mid-day yesterday.
“The Criminal Investigation Division has been activated and we are currently investigating the death as a homicide,” Santos said.
Police are not confirming if this case is related to a missing person report filed with GPD on Wednesday night.
Police are searching for Un Chong Kim, 42, who was reported missing. She was last seen wearing a white shirt, white shorts and brown slippers.
She is also said to have been driving a black 1998 Ford Ranger pickup truck with Guam license plate number 5153TFL. She was spotted in the Southern area of the island on Wednesday night.
Anyone with any information on this case is asked to call Guam Crime Stoppers at 477-HELP(4357) or CIS at 475-8557.
