Tree care workshop

THE Marianas Resource Conservation and Development Council will conduct a tree care and maintenance workshop on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, a media release said.
The workshop aims to educate professionals in the natural resources field, volunteer leaders, and interested persons in the best management practices, planning, and maintenance of trees and shrubs.
The instructor is Roland Quitugua.
Due to the nature of the workshop topic and the hands-on instruction, class size is limited to 12 persons.
Participants must come dressed for the outdoors and commit to attending the workshop in its entirety.

Chacha PTSA

(COJHS) — Chacha Oceaniew Junior High School will be having an open house and a PTSA meeting this Friday, Jan. 26 from 2 to 2:45 p.m.
Open house is from 3 to 4:45 p.m.
Students will be released at 12:10 p.m.
Chacha is encouraging parents and legal guardians to attend this important meeting and open house.
Parents should also make sure that E-rate surveys are submitted to the school. E-rate surveys allow the Public School System to have Internet access at a very low cost.
