FIFTEEN young men will compete next month for the “Island Hunks Search 2007” at GIG Discotheque in Garapan on Feb. 21.
A similar male pageant was held five years ago, according to organizer and director Ruel Liveta who was also behind the Pinay Marianas beauty pageant held late last year.
He promises a “fabulous show.”
“We’re looking for new faces,” he said.
The 15 male models will compete in swimming trunks and jeans modeling competitions.
There will be questions and answers, but no talent portion, Liveta said, adding that the contest is all about the male physique.
“There will be winners for Mr. Physique, Most Handsome, Best in Swimming Trunk, Best in Jeans and Mr. Photogenic,” Liveta said.
The contestants are Larry Gonzales, Dexter Tenorio, Dennis Viñas, Miguel De Gallego, Keith Isip, Rolando Fernandez, Edwin Armea, Marlon Vergel De Dios, Louis Norbert Abuce, Elmer Hernandez, Alexander Lauron, Elmer Quezon, Eroll Peredo, Mark Canlas and Michael Sagpao.
