Japan Airlines will bring more charter flights from Osaka to the
CNMI during Golden Week.
JALs original commitment of three flights has been doubled to six.
JAL Osaka has indicated that eight of Japans major wholesalers are aggressively
supporting the charter program and therefore JAL has decided to increase
the number of Osaka-Saipan charters to six.
These six charters from Osaka in April supplement the nine JAL charters
from Osaka that JAL has already scheduled for March.
The Golden Week JAL charters will be operated using a 232-seat Boeing
767.
The plane consists of 202 economy class seats and 30 Raku Raku
seats.
The planned flight schedule for the six charter flights is April 27-30,
April 28-May 2, April 29-May 3, April 30-May 4, May 1 -5 and May 2-6.
This is very encouraging news for the CNMI, said MVA Managing
Director Perry Tenorio. Japan continues to deliver the highest number
of tourists to the CNMI and having these additional charters allows more
Japanese visitors to explore our beautiful islands. We applaud JAL for
their continued commitment to our islands with their charter service.
