A newly –released 360-page hard bound photography book featured Palau’s beauty and traditional arts.
Gunther Deichmann , a photographer based in Manila presented in Tuesday a copy of the book which showcased photographs taken from 22 countries which include Palau.
The book, Journey Through Colour and Time featured photographs of people and the famous Rock Island shots of Palau.
Deichmann said he has been coming to Palau for 12 years and has taken several photographs of the island.
"Without Palau, I could not finish the book," he said.
He added that everything that was featured in the book was not digitally enhanced.
The book, Deichmann said is a collection of photographs he have taken from 1976 to 2006.
President Remengesau said Deichmann’s book will help the promotion of Palau.
Deichmann said the book cost 4,000 pesos or $75.
