THE Marianas Racing Association is inviting race fans on Sunday to cheer local riders in their first point race at the Cowtown Raceway Park in Marpi.
The race will start at 11 a.m.
The MRA decided to hold the race early to extend the MRA’s racing calendar this season.
The MRA’s racing season will be highlighted by the Saipan MX Championships in which international riders will compete against local bikers.
The MRA is reminding old and new members to sign a waiver every quarter of this year before joining in any of their organized races.
In order to be recognized as a member they must first register with MRA treasurer Bridgette Camacho.
MRA held its election of officers for the 2007 season last week with Eric Cruz being elected as the president and Warren Villagomez as the vice president. Eleanor Cepeda is the group’s secretary while Bridgette Camacho is the treasurer.
Other board members are Hercia Alepuyo, Samantha Salas and Piding Sablan.
