A WOMAN was hurt when a man grabbed her purse while she was on her way home in Chalan Kanoa yesterday.
Song Lin Jin, 36, sustained minor injuries to her knees and was treated by medics.
Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Lei Ogumoro Uludong said the incident was reported to the police at 2:57 a.m. yesterday.
The victim was returning home from a party when a man came up behind her and grabbed her purse.
The suspect was described as wearing a red shirt, red pants and a black beanie hat.
The suspect fled south.
The victim lost her black and gray purse containing her passport, wallet, $200 in cash and other items.
The stolen property was valued at $340.
