THE Guam Police
Departments Criminal Investigation Division continues its investigation
into a robbery at Jesses Gameroom II in Yigo yesterday morning.
GPD CID officer A.V. Camacho told Variety that the game room attendant,
a 41-year old woman, was alone in the facility when the robbery took place.
She indicated that a man entered the establishment and brandished
a small handgun. He rushed towards her. A struggle ensued but he forced
her into the cashier cage and demanded the money in the register,
Camacho said.
The woman handed over the money, about $4,000. He then told her to get
on her knees and tied her hands behind her back. The suspect fled in a
sedan. No further details about the vehicle were available.
However, police were able to get a description of the suspect. He is described
as possibly local, with a dark complexion, curly, shoulder-length hair,
standing 5-feet-10-inches to 6-feet tall, and of slender build. He was
last seen wearing black jeans, a long sleeved flannel shirt with a black
inside shirt.
Camacho said the suspect wore a red cloth covering his mouth and nose,
and a dark hat.
Camacho said they will continue to investigate this case and all other
recent robbery cases.
