Workshop on doing business with feds

(SCC) — On Tuesday, March 6, the Saipan Chamber of Commerce is bringing representatives from the Guam Small Business Administration to PIC Charley’s.
This will be a chance for CNMI businesses to learn first hand the steps needed to qualify to bid for federal contracts. Experts will present the information and be available to answer specific questions. The Guam Small Business Administration has limited resources, and Saipan is fortunate to have this opportunity.
This is important information for any business that wants to contract or sub-contract for work connected with the upcoming military build-up on Guam.
In addition, presenters will share information on how to obtain Small Business Administration financing, with an emphasis on SBA’s CapLine Loan Program. Any small business interested in expanding should have this information.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., and program will complete by 4 p.m. Registration fee is $35 for chamber members; $50 for non-members who pay in advance; and $70 for non-members at the door. This includes all materials, as well as lunch and refreshments.
Space is limited. For more information or to reserve a place in this one-of-a-kind workshop, call the chamber office at 233-7150.
