The Compact Review Commission thanked individuals and organizations who provided assistance and support to the recently concluded National Economic Symposium.
The CRC said that Asian Development Bank has made contributions in the amount of $40,000 plus welcome dinner at the Palau Pacific Resort, Bank of Hawaii, cash donors through Chamber of Commerce, Palau Public Utilities Corporation, Socio Micro/Surangel &Sons, Shell, Hanpa . Asia Pacific Construction Bank, Hawaiian Belau Rock, Belau Transfer & Terminal Co., First Commercial Bank; Palau Royal Resort, PMIC, Palassia, Black Micro, Sam Dive Tours, House of Delegates, Senate , Taiwan Embassy.
The CRC also thanked the contributions of President Remengesau, Paramount Chief Yutaka Gibbons, Council of Chiefs, Senate President Johnny Reklai, House Speaker Augustine Mesebeluu and members of the Olbiil Era Kelulau.
The CRC said that cabinet ministers, state governors, state legislatures, diplomatic corps, guest speakers from abroad and the student speakers.
The symposium which was held from Feb. 19 to 23 brought together national leaders, international experts and consultants from various industries, governments and organizations to share economic trends and global issues that would impact Palau’s economic development.
