TheBlue Sharks outlasted Airai in overtime, 109-102, on Tuesday night Feb. 27 in second round of Division II of the 2007 Shell National Basketball League at the Palau National Gymnasium.
Six players scored score in double figures for the Blue Sharks. They were Wayne Blodak 22, Tutii Benjamin 21, Stewart Mutsuo, 18, Palmer Swei 16 Giovanny Silyang 14 and Caleb Meltel 10.
Regulation score ended at 96-all as the Blue Sharks rallied back in the fourth and final quarter after Airai controlled the tempo of the game most of the first three quarters.
In the extra period, Blodak, Benjamin, Mutsuo and Siliang helped in offense for the Blue Sharks for the win.
Also on Tuesday, Kabong defeated Klebokel, 76-65, while Mesang ousted the Bullets, 80-71.
