The students
of the Japanese Language School of Palau made presentation on Waste Management
in Palau.
The presentation was conducted at the Palau Royal Resort last March 3.
The students presented what they have learned about waste management in
Palau.
The students toured the pig farm in Airai State, Dragon Tei Restaurant,
Palau Pacific Resort, M-Dock dumpsite and Sam Masangs recycling
plant in Malakal.
In the students trip in those areas they have learned how these
companies ensure that the wastes and trash are managed properly and how
the environment is kept safe
The presentation by the students was conducted both in English and Japanese
and a slideshow accompanied the presentation.
The Japanese Language school of Palau organizes a presentation every year
to showcase the students achievements in their studies. Last year
, students presented "Gongitsune" , a famous Japanese
childrens story about Gon, a little fox who creates a mischief in
the village.
As a supplementary school established by the Japan Club of Palau, the
Japanese Language School of Palau aspires to maintain Japanese students
skill in the Japanese language and culture while they are living outside
of Japan.
The school operates with the support of the Government of Japans
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports,
Science and Technology and the Japan Club of Palau.
