Waste management presentation by Japanese language students

The students of the Japanese Language School of Palau made presentation on Waste Management in Palau.
The presentation was conducted at the Palau Royal Resort last March 3.
The students presented what they have learned about waste management in Palau.
The students toured the pig farm in Airai State, Dragon Tei Restaurant, Palau Pacific Resort, M-Dock dumpsite and Sam Masang’s recycling plant in Malakal.
In the student’s trip in those areas they have learned how these companies ensure that the wastes and trash are managed properly and how the environment is kept safe
The presentation by the students was conducted both in English and Japanese and a slideshow accompanied the presentation.
The Japanese Language school of Palau organizes a presentation every year to showcase the student’s achievements in their studies. Last year , student’s presented "Gongitsune" , a famous Japanese children’s story about Gon, a little fox who creates a mischief in the village.
As a supplementary school established by the Japan Club of Palau, the Japanese Language School of Palau aspires to maintain Japanese students’ skill in the Japanese language and culture while they are living outside of Japan.
The school operates with the support of the Government of Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and the Japan Club of Palau.
