THE University of Guam community will continue its traditional annual Charter Day Celebration this week and will kick things off on the 55th Anniversary tomorrow morning with a “Fund Run.”
The University of Guam will host a “Let it Burn 5k Fun Run Walk. Go time is at 6a.m preregister at the university’s Field House Recreation office. Cost is $5. Registration ends at 4 p.m. today, March 12.
This Charter Day is the 55th Anniversary celebration of its founding and marks the 39th Annual Charter Day festivities. After the run/walk extravaganza, the opening ceremonies for Charter day 2007 begin at 9 a.m. in the campus courtyard. There will be Cultural exhibitions complete with dance, live music and a host of demonstrations throughout the Mangilao campus.
