Sablan continues rugby training

Steven Sablan continued his rugby development with USA Super League club Potomac Athletic Club (PAC) today by playing 20 minutes at half back as a reserve with the Super League squad in a pre-season hit-out against Super League club Philadelphia White-Marsh. He then turned around and played another 80 minutes (60 minutes at half back and 20 minutes at fly half) with the Super League Development squad and scored a try in the match.
In his short time with PAC, Steven has worked his way from a reserve on the Super League Development squad to a reserve on the Super League squad and will be on the bench as a reserve in next week’s Super League opener against the St. Louis Bombers. Steven has continued to impress with his work rate at trainings and his confidence is growing week by week. Today he displayed some of that confidence and newly developed skills with his accurate and timely box kicks and up and under kicks from the base of the scrum and rucks. On one occasion he regathered his own up and under and launched an attack at the opponent’s goal.
