Slow-pitch meeting tomorrow


TEAMS interested in participating in the men’s and women’s divisions of the Island-wide slow-pitch tournament are invited to attend a meeting tomorrow in the conference room at the Gilbert C. Ada Gym.
The meeting is set for 6:30 p.m.

Entries accepted for Jam Attack


The Northern Mariana Islands Volleyball Association is now accepting entries for the 2007 Jam Attack indoor volleyball tournament.
The annual tournament will be held at the Gilbert C. Ada Gym from April 20 to 22.
The three-day tournament will have competitions in the men’s and women’s divisions.
The entrance fee is $150 per team.

8th Annual St. Jude golfest April 14


THE 8th Annual St. Jude Golf Tournament will be held April 14 on the west course of the Laolao Bay Golf Resort.
Registration is at 6 a.m., while shotgun tee off is at 7:30 a.m.
Proceeds from the tournament will be used to repay a Church construction loan.

Japan pros play at LaoLao


(MVA) — TXN Network in Japan will film the Nettou Golf Committee as they play at LaoLao Bay Golf Resort from March 12 to 15. There will be 30 golfers playing, including a number of pros from Japan.
The event will be aired in the cities of Hakkaido, Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Okayama and Fukuoka Japan. This 30-minute program will air over a six-week period during April and May. TXN is shown in 33,980,000 households and the value to the CNMI of this airing is $7,501,090.
