Laundromat owner punched,robbed

THE owner of Best Laundry was punched in the face and robbed of $3,500 in cash on Friday.
Mi Sook Won, 43, had just closed down her laundromat in Chalan Kanoa for the evening when she was assaulted by two unidentified men.
Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Lei Ogumoro said the incident was reported to the police at 10:21 p.m. on Friday.
An investigation disclosed that as soon as Mi Sook Won got into her vehicle, two suspects ran toward her car.
One of the suspects approached on the driver’s side and the other approached on the passenger’s side.
The suspects opened the doors and punched the victim in the face.
One of the suspects then grabbed her purse and fled east on foot toward the Chalan Kanoa residential area.
The victim lost a dark colored purse containing keys and $3,500 in cash.
The suspects were described to be local males wearing dark- colored, long-sleeve sweaters with hoods and black or blue jeans.
The suspects were 5’5" to 5’7" feet tall with slim builds.
DPS said anyone with information about this crime should call Crime Stoppers at 234-7272.
