The Office of the President on Wednesday honored Uncherriang Aderkeroi , a Ministry of Health nurse who prevented someone from taking his own life.
Presidential Chief of Staff Billy G. Kuartei issued a certificate of recognition to Aderkeroi who was accompanied by Chief Nurse Josepha Tiobech and Public Health Supervisor Henrietta Merei during the president’s weekly conference.
Aderkeroi was commended for helping a neighbor who she rescued by administering CPR after he tried to kill himself.
Kuartei said that Aderkeroi’s swift response to a neighbor’s dilemma has saved somebody’s life.
