Russian magazine staffers visit NMI

(MVA) — Aeroflot Airlines recently had two of its in-flight magazines reporters on Saipan, Tinian and Rota. Their visit was to produce editorial content for the magazine.
Aeroflot Airlines was established in 1923 and accounts for 39 percent of international travel out of Russia and 11 percent of the domestic Russian travelers.
The airline flies 302 flights daily visiting 89 cities and 47 countries.
It distributes 70,000 copies of its magazine monthly with a readership of 400,000.
The CNMI will receive a 4 to 10-page feature in Aeroflot Magazine and there is the additional possibility of the article being published in other Russian magazines.
“I am enthusiastic about the exposure for the CNMI in Russia” said Marianas Visitors Authority Managing Director Perry Tenorio. “The Russian guests spend an average of 12-14 nights in the CNMI when they visit which is a big boost to our tourism economy. I would also like to thank Fiesta Resort & Spa for their support during the reporters visit.”
