FOUR minors remain confined at the Department of Youth Affairs after they were arrested by Guam Police Department’s Juvenile Investigation Section officers and charged with criminal sexual conduct.
GPD public affairs officer Allan Guzman said the minors, aged 13, 14 and 17, are alleged to have broken into several homes in the Toto Gardens with the intent to touch the sleeping homeowners sexually.
The minors also touched a sleeping man, thinking he was a female.
“One of the minors was apprehended and questioned. This led to the arrest of the three other boys,” Guzman said.
Guzman also told Variety that at times, the minors would open windows and reach in to touch their sleeping victims.
Other cases
In other news, a man was arrested for having sexual relations with a 14-year-old girl on several occasions.
The minor’s aunt reported the incident after she found out that her niece was having sexual relations with a man.
Justin Michael Atoigue, 18, was charged by GPD with criminal sexual conduct, child abuse, and jurisdiction over an adult. The girl may have been courting Atoigue.
Another 18-year-old was arrested on criminal sexual conduct charges.
Carlos Antonio B. Aguon, of Sinajana, is alleged to have inappropriately touched two girls, aged 13 and 14.
He was charged with two counts each of child abuse and jurisdiction over an adult.
“The acts were committed on two separate occasions — one in Chalan Pago and the other in Sinajana,” Guzman said.
