ORGANIZERS of the 2007 Annual UFO Inter-Organizational Basketball League are calling on representatives of interested teams to attend a meeting this Saturday at 6 p.m. at Gilbert C. Ada Gym’s conference room.
United Filipino Organization president Ramon Awit in a media release said that they will discuss the tournament ground rules, registration fee, uniforms assignments and the kick-off date in the meeting.
The tournament will have competitions in two divisions, namely, the Open division and the 40-and-up group.
For more information, contact Awit at 288-1990, Leo Canedo at 322-2721 or Ed Reyes at 287-9727.

25-and-under caging mandatory meeting today

TEAMS interested to join BANMI’s 25-and-under caging are required to attend a meeting today at 5:30 p.m. at Gilbert C. Ada Gym’s conference room.
BANMI official Elias Rangamar said that if less than six teams show up and confirm their participation in the youth caging, he will cancel the tournament.
The league is originally set to open this Saturday, but the kick off was moved to March 24.
Rangamar said teams that are having a hard time paying the $500 tournament fee can pay half of the required amount and pay the balance as the caging progresses.
For more information, contact Rangamar at 664-2502.
