NMI soldier returns from Iraq

AFTER months of anxiously waiting, the friends and family of Capt. Luis F. Arriola have finally been given a sense of relief, a media release stated.
Arriola, son of Pedro and Luz Arriola, arrived here on March 4.
His arrival ended six months of deployment in Iraq.
Friends and family gathered at the airport, making their way through customs in the arrival area.
Banners were to be seen as the crowd waited to see their soldier exit the plane and take his first steps on CNMI soil.
It was a joyous and heartfelt moment for the Arriola family, but would have been better if their daughter, Capt. Chela F. Arriola, had also been there to share in the moment.
Capt. Luis F. Arriola will remain on island until his R and R expires and will be redeployed to Iraq shortly there after.
He will be deployed for another six months and return to the mainland U.S., where he will be stationed in Georgia.
