Uruma Takezawa
unveiled his latest works depicting Palaus culture and scenery.
A known Japanese photographer, Takezawa captured Palau in more than 20
photographs now in display ay the Palau Pacific Resort Hotel.
PPR in cooperation with the Palau Visitors Authority and Japan Airlines
sponsored the Rainbows End photo exhibition by Takezawa which will
take place from March 9 until March 31, 2007.
The work was unveiled March 9 with a cocktail reception to launch the
photo exhibition.
Takezawa said that he first came to Palau when he was 19 years old and
from that time he had taken photographs in Palau which was published in
several magazines in Japan.
Takezawa added that that PVA has also obtained his services and the works
on display in PPR are a collection of his photographs from last year.
He said his works include photographs of the Rock Island, Long Beach,
local dancers, underwater sceneries.
PPR General Manager Manabu Komatsu said he believes that Takezawas
works are special.
The exhibit will run for the whole month of March.
