A FOREIGN investor has sued a CNMI firm for breach of contract, false representation and unjust enrichment.
Suwaso Corp. was sued by Jui Tung Wang for failing to perform its obligations under their agreement.
The complaint filed on Superior Court stated that the plaintiff is a resident of Taiwan while the defendant is a CNMI corporation.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff and the defendant on Feb, 5, 1997 entered into an investment agreement for a term of six years.
The term ended on Feb. 5, 2003.
The complaint stated that the defendant breached the agreement for failure to perform its obligations under the agreement.
The complaint added that the “breach, false representation and unjust enrichment has caused and continue to cause harm, injury and damage” to the plaintiff.
Jui Tung Wang, who is represented by attorney Anthony Long, is seeking for the return of $100,000, pre-judgment interest, damages, cost of suit and attorney’s fees and “for such other relief as the court deems just and proper on all three claims.”
