For an independent Guahan

GUAM is in deep trouble unless its indigenous population unite and become independent. To do this, a lot of beliefs must be really looked at because since 1565 Guam has been a property of Spain, until 1898, then America (1898-1941), Japan (1941-1944), then again America (1944-to present).
The natives are constantly looked down by outsiders but yet none of the outsiders would want their homeland, whether it is P.I., Palau, Chuuk, Japan, Korea, etc., to be governed just like Guam. I don’t really blame them for their feelings because no one wants to be just like Guam. What with uncontrolled immigration, land being sold, employment opportunities almost null, obeying laws with no voting rights, property taxes, etc.
The truth does hurt, and the truth I’m writing about is that we, the indigenous people, believe not in ourselves but in foreigners. Now let me explain. The indigenous on Guam believe they’re Camor (ro, ru)’s. First of all, that word was first uttered by the Spanish when upon their first sight of our ancestors, they said to each other that these indigo’s arms were as big as the legs of a cow. In South America, a Spanish property at one time, that word could either mean an anti-Spanish or a last name, for example the former president of Nicaragua. Now let’s look at the language. There is no extra “r.” So the question must asked, “If we’re not Camor (ro, ru)’s then who are we?” The answer is that we are descendents of an ancient race who were known as giants who roamed the Earth, the first world navigators before the birth of Moses, great inventors (the sakman, flying proa and ancho atupak, sling stone) who lived as a society in the garden of Eden (naked from time of birth to death, no murderers, no thieves) who called themselves Taotao Mona — the first people.
Other lies the indigenous believe in are that 1) they are American citizens, 2) mother country is America, and 3) they have no natural resources.
The truth is:
1. No U.S. citizen on Guam can vote for president unless one moves to any of America’s 50 states, for only there can one vote for president, have at least two U.S. senators and one House member with full voting rights.
2. How can our mother country be America when it was born only in 1776? So who do you believe is your forefather — George Washington 1700’s or Magalahi Matapang 1600’s?
3. No natural resources? How can that be? The number one natural resource is the human race for they are born with a mind that is very creative. That’s why inventions happened and is still happening!
I’ll take this time to close and inform you that their will be more to come in my quest for Guam to become an independent nation.
