THE NMI Council for the Humanities will hold the 5th Annual Covenant Day Debate on Thursday, March 22, 6:30 p.m., at the Visitors Center Theater of American Memorial Park
The competitors are Dong He Im of Marianas Baptist Academy vs. Savana Pricilla Manglona, Marianas Baptist Academy; and Anita Hofschneider, Marianas Baptist Academy vs. Alice Tessen, Saipan International School
The debate will be in a town hall format.
The debate resolve: “Article 12 is in the best interest of the commonwealth and should be retained.”
The moderator is Patricia B. Coleman and the judges are Lucia B. Maratita, Marian Aldan-Pierce, Sen. Maria T. Pangelinan, Tina Sablan and Kodep Uludong.
