By Emmanuel T. Erediano
Variety News Staff

THE Saipan Mayor’s Office and the municipal council will today re-name a street in Tanapag after Staff Sgt. Wilgene Tudela Lieto who was killed in action in Iraq in 2005.
Mayor Juan B. Tudela will lead the ceremony in the Tanapag Youth Center at 10 a.m..
The ceremony coincides with Lieto’s birthday. He would have been 30 today.
Lieto and another CNMI soldier, Army Spc. Jeff Terrence Jack, 32, were killed in bomb attacks while on patrol in Balad, some 42 miles north of Baghdad.
Lieto left behind his wife, Tiara, and two children.
