(CNMI SUPREME COURT) — Chief Justice Miguel S. Demapan will present the State of the Judiciary Address before a joint session of the 15th Legislature on March 30, at 10 a.m. in the House chamber.
Demapan’s speech marks the beginning of a new dialogue and cooperative spirit among the three branches of government.
Demapan will touch on the political and economic importance of a strong and independent judiciary in an effort to present a coherent picture of the judiciary’s role as a guardian of commonwealth law, and its importance to the future economic development of our society.
