PDC Rams rebounded
from two losses on Sunday as it won over the defending champion Rangers,
89-83, in the Filipino Basketball Association at the Palau National Gymnasium.
The Rams are now 4-5 and are now tied with Samurai in sixth to seventh
positions in the 10-team field tournament.
The Rangers, however, remained in fourth place with a 5-4 card.
Meanwhile, the FBA decided that the result of the game between Palau Royal
Resort and the Rams on the previous Sunday March 11 remained as it was.
PPR won that game, 83-67, but Rams protested contesting that a new player
for the Royals lacked eligibility requirements.
Still on top with an undefeated record of nine games, the Patriots booked
the most lopsided contest by issuing a 112-76 victory over Samurai.
After Sundays games, the team standings were almost intact with
the ATT-Jaguars still in strong second place with a 7-1 record after beating
Basty Ngchesar, 98-57.
Basty stayed at the bottom with a 0-7 slate.
Palaus Wassup team also kept its hold of third position after
coming home with a masterful 95-90 win at the expense of Surangel-Asian
Spirit.
Surangel is in fifth place with a 4-4 record.
John Stills led Wassup with 25 points while Benny Feliciano had
16 and Ziske Asanuma 14..
