FOR the eighth straight week,
Les Hustlers enjoyed the top view in the 2007 Budweiser SBA Open 8-Ball
League.
Les Hustlers remained No. 1 in the 14-team field after whipping the VFW
Warriors 1, 5-2, at Les Sports Bar last Tuesday. The league-leading team
won three of the five singles game and swept the two doubles events.
With the win, Les Hustlers improved to a 46-10 record, six victories ahead
of second placers Buds All In Boys.
Buds All In Boys have a 40-16 slate after downing the Godfathers,
6-1.
USSP What-ever also notched a 6-1 victory against Ysabels
Leche Tent keeping them in third place with a 39-17 record.
In fourth place are the Krystal Perfect Spotters, who edged USS Fotten
Palau, 4-3. Krystal Perfect Spotters have a 30-26 slate.
Also posting a similar 4-3 win were the Buds Predators, who improved
to a 29-27 record after defeating Porkys Toka Hao.
With the loss to Buds All In Boys, the Godfathers dropped
to sixth place with a 28-28 record.
Wild Wild West is in seventh place with a 26-30 and won against Vince
Bwibwiis, 5-2, followed by Porky Toka Hao, VFW Warriors II, Vince Amigos,
USS Fotten Palau and Ysabels Leche Tent.
Porky Toka Hao has a 24-32 slate, while Vince Amigos is tied with the
VFW Warriors II in ninth place with a 21-35 record. Vince Amigos tripped
VFW Warriors II last Tuesday, 5-2.
After bowing to the Krystal Perfect Spotters, USSP Fotten Palau dropped
to a 20-26 record, while Ysabels Leche Tent is at the bottom of
the team standings with a 19-37 slate.
