THE Guam Police Department is searching for three or more men in connection with two separate robberies at two game rooms yesterday morning.
The first robbery took place at 2 a.m. at the Liberty Gameroom in Yigo where two masked men held four customers, a cashier, and a security guard at gunpoint.
According to GPD public information officer Allan Guzman, the suspects handcuffed the security guard and then ordered the cashier to hand over the money from the game room safe and the cashier’s till.
The men got away with an undisclosed amount of money without seriously injuring any of the people in the game room. The suspects fled in a “dark colored sedan” which has primer on its rear left.
A detailed description of the suspects was not provided to police, but they may have been locals wearing dark clothing.
A few hours later at 7:15 a.m., police officers responded to a robbery at Annie’s Place III in Barrigada.
Guzman told Variety that while the cashier was cleaning the game room, two men entered the establishment.
“When the two men came in, one had a hand gun and the other was more of served as a lookout. The gunman demanded money from the cashier. He got away with a large sum of money from the game room cash box,” said Guzman.
The suspect fled in a white sedan.
“They may have changed their vehicle,” said Guzman.
The cashier at the second game room could only tell police that the robber was “skinny and weighed 130 to 150 pounds, with dark complexion, and standing 5-feet-6-inches to 5-feet-8-inches tall.
The suspects were last seen wearing dark clothing, with black gloves and caps that covered their face.
