Womens
fast-pitch tryouts begin
tonight
A series of tryouts for the CNMI Womens Fast-pitch Softball team
starts tonight at 6 p.m. at the Miguel Tan Ge Basa Pangelinan
Ballfield.
Players selected will represent the island in the Oceania Softball Confederation
North Pacific Championship this year on Guam.
The tryouts are open to players in the 15-and-above age group, CNMI or
US citizens or residents of the island for five or more years.

San Roque Parish golf tournament May 27
The 13th Annual San Roque Parish Golf Tournament will be held on May 27
at the Marianas Country Club in Marpi.
The annual golfest will be having competitions in six flights, namely
the Championship Flight, A, B,C, Ladies and Seniors.
Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded to the top three winners in each
division.
The entrance fee is $100. Participants can also join the closest to the
pin competition by paying an additional $10.
Proceeds from the tournament will go to the improvement of the parish
social hall.

Free soccer clinic March 26-27
(NMIFA)THE Northern Mariana Islands Football Association
will be holding a clinic on March 26 and 27 in Fiesta Resorts Azucena
Room 1.
Officials from the East Asia Football Federation will be the speakers
at the clinic, which will focus on coaching, officiating and administration.
EAFF officials will also discuss how to develop football and community
clubs.
The clinic is free, but NMIFA says it will be limited to the first 30
who register before the two-day clinic starts.
Coaches, parents and players are encouraged to attend the clinic.
