A GRAND jury of the Superior
Court of Guam voted to indict three men who were earlier charged in multiple
rape cases, including one who molested a minor at least 17 times.
Roque Castro Ogo was indicted on 17 counts of second-degree criminal sexual
conduct as a first-degree felony, 17 counts of child abuse as a misdemeanor,
and 17 counts of harassment as a petty misdemeanor.
Ogo allegedly committed the crimes from August 2005 to September 2005
when he repeatedly engaged in sexual contacts with a minor victim.
The same grand jury indicted Joseph Anthony Cruz Jr., 20, who allegedly
engaged in sexual penetration with a 15-year-old girl.
Cruz was charged with four counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct
as a second-degree felony, four counts of assault with intent to commit
a criminal sexual conduct as a third-degree felony, four counts of child
abuse as a misdemeanor, and four counts of harassment as a petty misdemeanor.
Cruz allegedly committed the crimes between Nov. 1, 2006 and Dec. 30,
2006.
Jimmy Lee Santos Mantanona, 22, was also indicted by the grand jury for
third-degree criminal sexual conduct as a second-degree felony, assault
with an intent to commit a criminal sexual conduct as a third-degree felony,
child abuse as a misdemeanor, and harassment as a petty misdemeanor.
Mantanona allegedly engaged a minor in sexual penetration between Jan.
1, 2007 and Feb. 15, 2007.
