2 public schools vandalized

JUAN M. Guerrero Elementary School in Harmon was burglarized while George Washington High School in Mangilao was vandalized during the weekend.
According to Guam Police Department public information officer Allan Guzman, a teacher at Juan M. Guerrero Elementary School discovered on Sunday that classrooms were broken into over the weekend.
Guzman said the incident was reported to police at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. The school was secured on Friday.
Guam Public School System spokesperson Gerry Cruz said a tall refrigerator, computers, and miscellaneous school items were taken from the campus.
Individual(s) broke into George Washington High School and put graffiti on rooms and hallways of the school. The vandalism was reported to police at 7:30 a.m. yesterday.
Police are seeking information on these cases and ask people to call GPD at 472-8911 or Guam Crime Stoppers at 477-HELP(4357) for any information on these cases.
