ISF official to conduct softball clinic in Palau

The Palau Softball Federation announced yesterday the upcoming clinic to be conducted by a technical official from the International Softball Federation here.
The ISF official, Ms. Marty Pump, will conduct softball clinics in scoring, pitching, coaching and administration in different states and schools in Palau. She will be arriving on March 29.
In a letter to the Governors, Chief Sinton Soalablai and all principals of Elementary and high schools and NGOs, the PSF said that through its requests with the ISF, Palau is fortunate to have Pump to conduct the clinics for two weeks from March 29-April 13
Pump is an experienced softball administrator.
The PSF also announced that Mr. Lawrence Abraham has joined PSF as the Softball Development Officer.
The PSF said that among the tasks that Lawrence will be responsible for include working closely with Pump during the two-week clinics in the different states and schools.
This is to collaborate in the development of a comprehensive softball program for the youth and men and women in Palau.
The PSF said that it is committed to strengthen softball in the community through organized leagues and competitions.
Clinic with Team Palau is tentatively set on Mondays to Fridays at 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and on Saturdays at 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Meyuns Softball Field.
Pump will meet PSF Board/SDO at the Penthouse on March 30.
Completing the schedule are the following: March 31 coaching clinic at TBA (8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.); April 2 coaching/administrative clinic at TBA 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; April 3 scoring clinic at TBA 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; April 4 FP Clinic (Koror, Airai, Tobi, Sonsorol) 2:30 p.m.-4 p.m.;
April 5 FP Clinic Elem. Schools (Koror, Meyuns, Harris, Maris Stella 2:30 p.m.-4p.m. Meyuns Field; April 6 FP Clinic high schools (PHS, EHS, Mindszenty, PMA, Ibobang 2:30p.m.-4p.m Meyuns Field; April 7 FP Clinic State Visits Angaur and Peleliu 10a.m.-4 p.m. in Peleliu;
April 9 FP Clinic men and women pitchers and potential pitchers only 3 p.m.-5p.m. Meyuns Field; April 10 FP Clinic State Visits Ngardmau, Ngaremlengui, Ngatpang and Aimeliik 9a.m.-3p.m. in Ngaremlengui; April 11 FP Clinic State Visits to Ngiwal, Melekeok, Ngchesar 9a.m.-3p.m. in Ngiwal; April 12 FP Clinic State Visits to Kayangel, Ngerchelong and Ngaraard 9.am.-3p.m. in Ngarchelong.
A farewell dinner will be held with the PSF Board and PNOC at the Drop Off Bar and Grill on April 12.
